전 세계 로봇 갑상선 수술의 새로운 기준을 세우다!
한양대학교병원 이비인후과 태경 진료석좌교수가 공동 제1저자 및 교신저자로 참여한 '원격 접근 로봇 갑상선 수술 국제 권고안'이 제정 및 발표되었습니다.

지난 10여 년간 비약적으로 발전해 온 로봇 갑상선 수술. 하지만 그동안 어려운 술식과 환자 적응증, 수술 범위 등에 대한 표준화된 가이드라인이 없어 의료진마다 표준화된 접근이 어려웠습니다.

이번 국제 권고안은 지금까지 축적된 전 세계의 학술적 근거를 집대성하여, 환자들에게 안전하고 표준화된 술식을 제공할 수 있는 '국제 공통 언어'를 확립했다는 점에서 주목을 받고 있습니다.

Setting a new global standard for robotic thyroid surgery!
The "International Guidelines for Remote-Access Robotic Thyroid Surgery," co-authored by Dr. Kyung Tae (Clinical Chair Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Hanyang University Hospital) as the co-first and corresponding author, has finally been established and published.

While robotic thyroid surgery has advanced rapidly over the past decade, the high complexity of the procedure and the lack of standardized guidelines regarding patient indications, scope, and surgical methods have posed challenges.

By synthesizing global academic evidence accumulated over the years, this new international consensus establishes a "Global Common Language." This milestone allows medical professionals worldwide to select suitable patients safely and deliver standardized, high-quality surgical care.
